Fire Prevention Awareness activities were conducted by local fire departments for all students at Farmer Elementary October 13th.  Kindergarten practiced "Stop, Drop and Roll!"  First graders visited with Smokey the Bear and learned about preventing forest fires.  Second graders examined fire trucks and used the fire hose. Third graders visited the Smoke House.  Fourth graders shared in the experience learning about CPR.  Fifth graders engaged in the simulated fire extinguisher.  Thank you to each of the involved fire departments!
