Congratulations to Max Courtemanche who won first place in the George Washington Carver Oratorical Contest. The George Washington Carver Comunity Enrichment Center strives to provide educational opportunities for both children and adults.  This year's compeition included both a middle grades and a high school level.  On Friday, February 2, 2018, Max competed in the Middle Grades Competition at the Sunset Theater in downtown Asheboro. Max walked away with the honor and a check for $300.  Please take a moment to congratulate him.
