SN Employee Wellness Program

We are pleased to announce YEAR 2 of the Employee Wellness Program for School Nutrition Professionals for the 2017-2018 school year. The goal of the program is to support the health and wellbeing of School Nutrition employees, promote teambuilding, and reduce the risk of chronic disease and injuries.  The program utilizes free and discounted resources available through State Employees Health Plan (BCBSNC) in addition to various community resources and incentives to support healthy eating, physical activity as well as mental health.

While the program is completely voluntary, we have strived to identify a wide variety of activities, resources and benefits we hope you will use.  Participants in the program earn points for different activities.

A variety of incentives will be available to the top 3 participants per quarter, top 3 participants overall, as well as the top earning school.  These incentives include gift certificates and other donated items from community organizations and businesses as well as certificates and other methods of recognition.

We are excited to offer this program for employees and also look forward to receiving feedback from you at the end of the year so we can continue to improve and adjust the program for the future.

If you have questions, or need more information about the program, please contact Jayme Robertson at  jrobertson@randolph.k12.nc.us or Kelly Green at  k2green@randolph.k12.nc.us
