Uwharrie Middle Conducts "Graduation Week"

As one part of “Graduation Week” at Uwharrie Middle School, four seniors from Southwestern Randolph High School visited UMS sixth 6th graders.  The seniors talked about high school and the importance of graduating with good grades, community service, clubs and other areas.  The speakers were Laci Godfrey, Aidee Tejeda, Kimberly Aguirre and Emily Castelloe.  All of the speakers were previous students of UMS.

Here were the "Graduation Week" events:

Monday - School banners

Tuesday - “Guess the Graduate” and staff wearing caps/gowns

Wednesday - Seniors speak to 6th Grade and 7th Grade Junior Academy

Thursday - "Reality Store" for 8th grade

Friday - Alumni /school colors
