"Awareness Day" at RECHS

Under the direction of teachers Angela Mroczkowski and Sharon Clapp, students in Seminar classes at Randolph Early College High School conducted an “Awareness Day” on Tuesday, December 5.

Selected causes were foster care, endangered species, animal abuse, domestic violence, and illnesses such as Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and arthritis. Students supported these causes by creating awareness, sharing information, and raising money for local organizations.

The students raised and donated money to the Valerie H. Schindler Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Your Choices Randolph, Project 82 Randolph, Randolph County SPCA, and Humane Society of Randolph County. Checks were presented on December 8.
